Client Lead – BI:PROCSI - DELIVERYWhat do you do at BI:PROCSI?
My role involves ensuring that we have a thorough understanding of our clients' needs, and then guiding our development teams to deliver the most value possible
What initially attracted you to working for BIPROCSI?
Besides working with Dan, I was excited to work for a newly established company with ambitious plans and rapid growth.
How has your role at BIPROCSI contributed to your personal and professional growth? (2-3 lines)
Since day one, I have consistently pushed myself outside of my comfort zone, which has helped me to enhance my technical knowledge and confidence. Personally, I have come to appreciate the importance of prioritising value over simplicity.
What do you enjoy most about working for BIPROCSI?
I appreciate the diversity of our client engagements and the collective knowledge of our core team, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with our skilled software and data developers. This openness and transparency creates a rewarding work environment.
How would you describe the BIPROCSI culture?
Open, honest and rewarding
What sets BIPROCSI apart from other organisations in our industry?
The sheer scope of growth opportunities is unparalleled, as knowledge is widely shared across teams, and everyone contributes their strengths to the right projects, resulting in rapid delivery.
How does BIPROCSI support employee work-life balance?
Working from home (13 out of 14 days) has been the most significant support for me, especially as a parent of young children. I appreciate that BI:PROCSI understands that employees are humans with lives outside of work.
What opportunities for advancement and career development are available at BIPROCSI
There are no limits to what you can achieve here provided you show up, contribute and grow.
What advice would you give to someone who is interested in pursuing a career in data? (2-3 lines)
My first piece of advice would be to first decide if you want to pursue a more technical route (a lot about some things) or a more holistic route (a little about a lot of things).
If the route is technical, you will unequivocally need to learn SQL, understand cloud technologies and generally be obsessed with data. Data is about asking questions so you will need to be consistently curious.
If you prefer a more holistic path, you'll need a well-rounded skill set which may include statistics, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
In both paths you will continue to learn every single day.
